For their 2003 UK tour a range of 2 or 3 items were produced with this 'Barso' logo design. We were buying this shirt from the merch stall when Mike Barson himself came up to the stall and asked to have one of each of the 'Barso' items. He didn't have any money on him so he had to explain to the merch guys that he is a member of the band and that he was the guy on the shirt! The merch guys weren't having any of it and demanded that he paid. To help him out we asked him to sign this shirt we had just bought, thus providing to the merch guys that he was indeed genuine!

The shirt has never been worn, nevertheless Barso's signature has faded slightly. The image shows the part of the shirt signed 'Mike Barson' together with a small picture of the full design in the top left corner.

4x DVD box set of rarities not found anywhere else, only 500 were made. Discs will have a few surface marks merely due to the way they are held on bespoke cards rather than in typical plastic CD cases. You won't find a set without these marks.

In addition we will supply the set of two promotional posters used to advertise this box set on their 2010 tour.

Specially printed as a limited edition item to promote the release of the single in 1983. Still in perfect condition. The is one of the most sought after Madness collectables in existance and hardly ever come up for sale. Mr Smash, aware of their collectable status revealed in an interview a few years back that he still keeps his own one under his bed...his pension plan perhaps! The Victoria & Albert Museum in London also have one of these in their Madness collection. Not surprisingly this is our only spare and may well be the last that comes up for sale for many, many years.

Excellent condition, never been used. Original backing card still in place. Printed on a type of plastic quite popular for stickers in the 80s that sticks to glass but nothing else and can be removed and reused again and again. This is the very last one we have. When it's gone, it's gone.

Giant promotional plastic banner for Madness on Blackheath (Their only London show for 2024). Size 2.8m x 1.8m. Excellent condition.

Due to the massive size it will have to be posted folded, however, due to the fabric used, if you hang it up in the sunshine for a week or so, all of the creases should drop out (no guarantee of this but it should be ok).

Without doubt the pinnacle of Madness's career, headlining the Queen's Jubilee Concert from the roof of Buckingham Palace.

Cast your mind back to that year to remember how the whole country was invited to apply for tickets to the special event but there were only 2000 lucky winners. Each winner got to have a picnic at Buckingham Palace, was given a special hamper, a printed BBC Programme for the event and other bits and pieces. This is one of those special hampers, a pretty unique limited edition Madness collectable from their highest profile performance of all time.

Promotional A4 size glossy folder for their 1999 album Wonderful. Comprises glossy orange folder with single press sheet for the release of Johnny the Horse, a promo CD for Johnny the Horse and a 4 page biography of the band.

Madness starred (many would say headlined) this very high profile 1982 concert at the Dominion Theatre, London.

Very good condition. Ideal for collectors of obscure Madness items. Most probably the only time that Madness are on a Videodisc. Very large discs housed in hard plastic cases, it was the US version of the Japanese laser disc. It measures 13" by 14".

The rarest official Madness Pump Clip sign of all time. 100% Mint condition, has never been used, not a single blemish on its polished hard plastic transparent lense.

The official Madness themed "Mr Apples" cider was only served at a handful of Madness gigs. Production of all Madness beers and ciders ended in 2019, only a tiny handful of these signs would have been made, there will not be any more, this item is already a highly treasured Madness collectors' item, and looks set to follow other obscure and valuable Madness collectables, like the Sun & Rain pakamac, Driving in My Car bike horn and Ghost Train picture disc. Another recently sold at auction on Ebay for £79+£2.30 postage.

Designed for an illuminated electric pub / bar hand pump to allow light to shine through it. You may want to display it similarly illuminated in your man / woman cave! Diameter is 8cm.

Glossy A4 size presentation pack issued prior to the launch of the Musical in London's West End, similar to that used for the press pack for Complete Madness and for Wonderful. In 2003 this pack was selling on Ebay for over £40 each time it was sold. Excellent condition.

This is one of the actual manfestos thrown in the air by Lee in the video itself. Props from Madness videos are near impossible to obtain, this is one of very few we know of that have reached the public domain. With Drip Fed Fred being arguably the best video Madness have made in the past 20 years this is a great item to own. Image shows the front and back of the sheet.

Sample / artist's proof from the collection of the illustrator Paul Clewley RIP.

This initial sample card has not been printed on the inside with the band's signatures. It was acquired by Retro-Madness from the collection of the late Paul Clewley, Madness fan, who illustrated this card as well as the iconic Shut Up sleeve. This is the only artist's proof that we have, when it's gone, it's gone.

Printed inside the card, but not shown in this picture are the signatures of the six members of the band from 1984 (i.e. no Mike).

Everything is in perfect condition. Will be posted as a 'large letter' (A4 size) so the poster will have a single fold line across the middle.

Set of 7 vintage playing cards spelling out the word 'MADNESS'. These cards are identicle to those used in the video for Tomorrow's Just Another Day. The momentus event of 2009 when a Madness gig in the middle of Regent Street closed off the whole road to traffic. Here is a large very well made plastic eyeletted banner from the event. This banner probably cost a lot more to make than the price it is being sold for here. Madness are mentioned in the mini programme but not the banner, there were no posters / banners from the day that mentioned Madness. Size is 136 cm x 54 cm. Mint condition. A job lot of ephemera related to Peter Blake's 90th Birthday concert at the Royal Festival Hall. Includes an A3 size colour poster printed on heavy duty paper / card, a set list for the Madness set and a Southbank Centre info sheet.

Madness headlined the concert supported by Noel Gallagher (playing an Oasis greatest hits set), The Who, Paul Weller, Chrissie Hynde and Baxter Dury. The concert also included an interview with Bob Geldof and numerous recorded birthday tributes from the likes of Paul McCartney, Tracey Emin, David Hockney etc.

The white sheet is a professional copy of the original note paper used by Stiff Records (UK) in 1984 (they used this colour printed paper to put through their photocopiers to print press release sheets on...this was 2 decades before colour copiers came into use). This AAA laminate pass was valid for access to all backstage areas for the whole tour and was issued only to the members of the Band and Production Team for Voice of the Beehive's 1988 Tour. This is the Access All Areas laminate pass used by the members of the Band and Production Team for the whole of the Mad Dog's 1995 Tour. The writing on it is printed in gold although this is not visible from the scan. Madness headlined the Friday night of this Festival. This is one of the actual passes issued to the band (i.e. it's not a VIP pass or Guest pass it's one of the band's own passes!)

Madness perform as part of the Music-Flash concerts sponsored by o2. Excellent condition.

This hard plastic pass was valid for access to the whole tour and was issued only the band's closest family and friends. All other guests were given fabric passes valid for specific venues only.

Concert at the Royal Albert Hall in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. AAA laminate pass in perfect condition.

December 2008 they only played UK gigs in Manchester and London (O2 Arena). This is the VIP pass issued to family members of the band. Very good used condition. The image shows the back and front of the pass, only one pass is for sale.

Entry to the album launch party for the Liberty of Norton Folgate in May 2009 was by way of these folded blue printed paper passports. It's believed that more were printed than the venue was actually licenced for, consequently the place was completely rammed. Its not certain whether the excessive number of passports in circulation was deliberate, an accident or whether some were counterfeit. Anyway, this is our only spare, I've no proof whether it's legimate or counterfeit, all I know is I bought it on Ebay shortly after the event and it looks just the same as my own one, so if it is a fake, it's a very good fake (or maybe my own one is a fake too!). The price I've listed it for is pretty much the same price I paid for it back in 2009. Once it's gone, it's gone and as most people will be keeping theirs as souvenirs I reckon it will be a very long time before another one comes up for sale. Item sold. No longer available.

Heavy solid metal keyring made only as a prototype for promotional purposes prior to production of the mass produced enamel Our House keyring. Excellent condition. There have been 3 commonly used 'M' logos over the past 40 years. This is the original official design, in 1999 a crown was added and the M shape slightly changed. Then in 2006 bootleggers produced their own M logo to try to avoid copyright issues, this was similar to the original logo but had an amateurishly drawn hat and squared off toes.
